firstly you effectivley start with a blank canvas, once adding rock formations and prefabs you end up with something looking like this.
Once rock formations are added you then begin to add smaller assests such as shrubs and grass ready to add larger nodes such as trees etc..
After you have deployed the trees in the desired locations you will have effectivley completed your landscape find below several aerial images i took of the first attempt at this small forest
